In a world increasingly shaped by algorithms, screentime and artificial intelligence, Retreats in Nature offers a unique experience with something refreshingly real - a return to human & nature connection, authentic experiences in the grounding presence of the natural world. Located in the heart of the Lake District, this transformative week-long retreat will guide you away from your devices, awaken your senses and connect you to the soul-soothing rhythms of the natural world to open your inner creative voice.

Design With Nature Retreat
Thorney How, Grasmere, Cumbria 11th-15th May 2026
This retreat is for those who long to create a unique home but feel overwhelmed by choice, are tired of trends and crave more meaningful connections with the spaces they inhabit. Stepping away from constant notifications and curated feeds, you move into a slower, richer, natural rhythm where design ideas grow from a personal connection with nature and where real conversations happen around the fire, not in a chat thread.

Surrounded by nature in the heart of the Lake District National Park, you will slow your pace, inhale fresh air and connect with like-minded souls. As you immerse yourself in nature’s wisdom, you will learn how to reflect your unique connection
and experience of the natural world into the design of your own home.
This week will teach you the tools to design a home that feels alive, soulful, and deeply personal.
